Marybel Gonzalez

Emcee

A bilingual, multimedia journalist at CBS 2 News Chicago. She was formerly an anchor, producer and reporter along the U.S.-Mexico border and a recipient of a national Gracie Award for investigative reporting. She is also a four time Emmy Award winner. Gonzalez came to CBS in the summer of 2022 from Telemundo where she was a bilingual reporter for nearly three years. She also was a weekend anchor and investigative reporter for the Sinclair Broadcast Group in Texas and an investigative reporter for the PBS station in Denver. Marybel graduated with a master degree in journalism from Columbia University in 2016.

Dr. Juanita Mora

MD, was born and raised in Chicago. She is a first-generation Mexican American and the first doctor in her family. Juanita is passionate about educating the Latino community and bridging the gap in health equity. She found her voice through the COVID-19 pandemic as she helped the Latino community navigate and walk through this pandemic's hard times and uncertainty. Dr. Mora serves as Volunteer Medical National Spokesperson for the American Lung Association and serves as a voice of education and science for those without a voice. She has done multiple national interviews throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, including NPR, Time Magazine, Washington Post, New York Post, Wallstreet Journal, Associated Press, NBC News, WGN, Univision, Telemundo, and most recently, was recognized as a Health Hero by US News and World Report for her work with the Latino Immigrant Community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. She also received the 2022 Practice Champion Award from the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology for her work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Mora continues to serve on multiple local and national campaigns to help keep the Latino community.

Adolfo attended public grammar and high school before attending Yale University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After graduating from the University of Chicago Law School, where he studied under then-Illinois State Senator Barack Obama, he began his career as an Assistant Appellate Attorney. Adolfo has been a solo practitioner for the past 19 years with a general practice serving the community where he was born and raised and still lives.
